William J. Benzick

Founder & Chairman of the Board

William Benzick began his food service career as a District Manager for a national food service company, quickly advancing to the role of Director, overseeing food service in nine states. In 1975, he created Best Inc., a food service management company, serving the Midwest. Under Benzick’s direction, Best Inc. grew to $65M in volume before its sale to a prominent food service company in 1997. At the request of several former Best Inc. clients, Benzick created A’viands in 2003. He is now Chairman of the Board and is active in much of the activities of A’viands.

Perry Rynders

Chief Executive Officer

Perry Rynders is a Certified Public Accountant with a degree in Accounting from St. John’s University (MN). Perry had previously worked with an international accounting firm before joining Best Inc. as the Controller. Perry served as the President of Best Inc., prior to its sale in 1997. He joined A’viands as President in 2004 and became its Chief Executive Officer in 2006. As CEO, Perry Rynders brings his extensive leadership experience as well as his financial acumen to the growth and success of the company.

Ron Villani

Chief Operating Officer

Ron Villani joins the A’viands team as Chief Operating Officer where one of his primary objectives will be interacting with the A’viands field team members and clients, ensuring A’viands’ commitment of quality and service. Ron brings with him an extensive background in professional dining services management, including over ten years in the position of Senior Vice President within a Fortune 500 company. Ron has a B.A. in Economics from Bethany College and an MBA from St. Joseph’s University.

Mitch Speicher

Chief Financial Officer

Mitch Speicher’s background includes more than 20 years as a Senior Financial Executive. He started his professional career as an auditor for KPMG Peat Marwich following the receipt of his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Minnesota. Mitch joined A’viands in 2006, and has provided extensive financial knowledge in the areas of forecasting, analysis of financial reporting, employee benefits plans, and developing corporate purpose, vision and core values. Mitch is responsible for the overall performance of Accounting, Human Resources, Information Technology and Administrative functions for A’viands.
